Hello, Cemagi Community! Last year, more than 100 trees were cut down in Cemagi and Seseh to make way for new pavements and smoother roads. Now, we'd love to bring a little more nature back.

Planting is planned for the rainy season, when the conditions can help young trees establish themselves. Each location will be checked for safe planting and suitable drainage.
Max is a true tree expert. In France he carefully dug up, moved and replanted 300-year-old olive trees, work that takes deep knowledge of roots, soil and timing to keep such old trees alive. He's bringing that same care to Cemagi as a community initiative, choosing the right trees and planting spots, bringing the right people together and making sure local suppliers and workers are paid fairly.
Max runs Mr Hijau (Mr Green), a Bali-based team that designs, builds and maintains gardens for villas, hotels and homes, with a focus on low-impact care that thrives in Bali's climate.
Asis is Max's right-hand man and our wonderful team leader. With over 18 years of experience working in Bali, he knows tropical gardens inside out and has helped build some truly beautiful ones. He also helps us find the very best suppliers for our plants and trees.
Ronnie keeps everything running smoothly, making sure the team is in the right place at the right time. He also brings a wealth of knowledge about local plants and trees, which is a real gift for a project like ours.
Bloom Boutique Atelier is a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool on Jl. Pratu Rai Madra in Cemagi, welcoming children aged 1 to 7. Set on a leafy property near the beach, it grows confident learners through nature, play and inquiry, so planting trees along its own road is a natural fit. The school hosts the project and collects all sponsorship payments through Yayasan Pendidikan Zerosei Indonesia.
